The official address is: Seivågnesveien 114, Averøy (but the house has the number 4 on it) The area is called Sveggen, and is on the very northern side of Averøy – only 10 minutes from Kristiansund. You can also see the map on our gallery page.

Sure, and it’s free. You can park to the left, next to the the house.

No problem – if we have not made other arrangements with you, a key will be left at a location revealed in an email we send you after your booking.

NORMALLY- no problem, but please contact us to verify that there isn’t a new guest scheduled on the same day. Check-in is from 12.00, so you need to leave before then.

If you bring your mom, yes. Everyone else is expected to clean after themselves, and put bedclothes and towels in the washing machine. Leave the house as you find it is the general idea.

Basically – everywhere! You will catch som sporty mackerel and decent cod from land – and for a really cool experiencel: drive here – to one of the bridges at Atlanterhavsveien (drive south for 30 minutes, the bridge before the one in the photo) – or take a boat out, if you can.

At any age, we higly recommend visiting Bremsneshola (The Bremsnes Cavern). Here is a map link to a good parking spot if you prefer a 15 minute walk CLICK HERE, or you can walk shorter by parking next to the gas station “Best Bremsnes” – where you also find the unique rock and mineral museum “Steinsenteret”. -and Pizza 🙂

Yes, you’re right. Follow the instructions to the Bremsnes Cave – and 200 meter before the cave you will find several popular climbing routes with varying difficulty. This is a public spot for climbers that bring their own gear.

In Norway you are allowed to go along the coastline – everywhere. Also, on all land areas that is not private gardens or farmland (or fenced in) you are allowed to go as you please, and even stop for a rest or meal. You will find marked trails everywhere! And note: there is no difference whether the land is privately or publicly owned – this right is universal. During winter you can even walk over farmed land.
